  • 1 tbsp Gluten free oyster sauce
  • ½ tbsp Gluten free soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Neutral oil

Instructions

  • Boil water and cook the ½ lbs Gluten free noodles per packaging instructions. Slightly under cook the noodles (~1 minute less than recommended) since you will further cook the noodles in a frying pan later.
  • Cut ¼ white or yellow onion into strips. Cut off the white ends of the 2 Scallion, then chop into thin slices. Peel and mince 4-6 cloves Garlic. Separate out the whiter parts of the scallion from the greener parts.
  • Add 1 tbsp Gluten free oyster sauce, ½ tbsp Gluten free soy sauce, and 1 tsp Brown sugar into a small bowl. Stir well.
  • Heat up a medium to large frying pan on medium heat, then add 1 tbsp Neutral oil.
  • When oil is hot and before it smokes, turn up to high heat and add chopped onion. Stir and cook for 30-45 seconds until aromatic. Add garlic and cook for another 30-45 seconds.
  • Add sauce mixture and allow to simmer for 10-15 seconds. Make sure to stir well so sauce doesn't stick to the pan.
  • Add cooked noodles to the pan and continue to stir so the sauce evenly coats the noodles. Cook for 30 seconds and taste. If it needs to be saltier. add another ½ tbsp of oyster sauce. Continue to cook another 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Turn off the heat, then add the whiter parts of the chopped scallions. Stir the scallions into the noodles.
  • Plate. Add the greener parts of the scallions to the noodles as garnish. Enjoy!
